FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Get your feet wet in December! Forget those “old wives” tales. Besides, we are talking about a taking a closer look at the new and improved features Adobe InDesign CS4. Meet us on Tuesday, December 9th, from 6:30-8:45 pm, on the (nearly empty) UNR campus for the final InDesign User Group meeting of 2008.

As we have come to expect, InDesign has plenty of help for every type of publication effort, no matter how stylish or unique. This latest release is certainly no exception. Come see which features on your personal “wish list” can now be incorporated into your daily routine.

YOUR FRIENDLY FACILITATOR

Jim Cooper, Chair of the Reno InDesign User Group VP of Print Implementations – Catsy Catalog Solutions

REGISTRATION IS VERY IMPORTANT

Please register (www.indesignusergroup.com/chapters/reno) beforehand for a number of reasons, not the least of which are the ability to help us procure some great raffle prizes and plan our snacks accordingly.

RAFFLE

You could WIN “Adobe InDesign CS4 Classroom in a Book” … or (even better) gifts donated by some of our generous sponsors. For this meeting, we ask that you bring a CHECK to purchase tickets. More details to come on meeting day.

DON’T GET LOST

We’ll be meeting in the Orvis School of Nursing building, Room 204. This building is 033 on the campus map (www.unr.edu/tour/UNR-Campus-Map.pdf).

IMPROVED PARKING

If you go to www.unr.edu/parking/maps.html you can click the link to download a PDF of the parking map. Our meeting site (Orvis School of Nursing building) is number 033. We have one-day parking passes available for the SILVER lots (after 6pm). If you did not pick up a pass at the last meeting, you will need to stop in, pick up the pass, and jog back to your car. At the meeting, you can get a pass for the next meeting (with the purchase of raffle tickets) and take it with you. NOTE: Lots S4 and S6 are still “off limits” to one-day users (we don’t make the rules). As always, you can take your chances with street parking.

THANKS …

… in advance to Adobe and our entire User Group community (particularly our gracious cousins in Indianapolis and Puerto Rico) and to the kind folks at UNR for their continued hospitality. Also, we are grateful to Peachpit Press (www.peachpit.com), O’Reilly (www.oreilly.com), and Catsy (www.catsy.com) for their generosity.
